For the settlers of Mars, the underground tunnels of Hobbiton protect them from the airless cold. But when a zombie outbreak hits the city, the survivors have nowhere to run.
Doane and his friends take refuge in a domed park. Behind its sealed airlock, they're safe--but when Doane gets a call from his little brother telling him their parents haven't gotten home yet, he'll have to head back into the tunnels armed with nothing more than a flower stand and his kung fu.
The Zombies of Hobbiton is a 24,000-word novella.
Good story. Interesting characters. Snappy dialog. I see a series here, with the last couple of books involving a few cans of whupass opened on the aliens who left the capsule that started it all.55
Has to be one of the best off the beaten path zombie books I have read in a long long time. Great job Why aren't you charging for this?55
Good solid zombie story. Placing it on Mars was a fun touch.55
Happened to stumble across this and the description compelled me to see what something called The Zombies of Hobbiton could possibly be like. I am so glad I did. It was witty and very entertaining. I found myself surprised at how quickly I read through it and wanted more!55
