Growing up, Grayson Legend and Kennedy Knowles were inseparable. They turned to each other when their families were nothing more than worthless guardians, and had promised each other to always stay friends.
Then Kennedy did the unthinkable.
She fell in love with her best friend.
And after finally finding the courage to let him know—
Grayson took off.
After walking away from his best friend because he didn’t feel like he would ever be good enough to give Kennedy what she wanted or needed, Grayson Legend has become a household name in the MMA fighting world.
When he runs into Kennedy at a fight in Vegas, he immediately determines to do one thing—never let her go again.
She has a secret.
They both have regrets.
And when the truth comes to light—
Everything between them could be ruined.
Two people who, together, both survived a childhood full of abuse, have found each other again. It’s a story of rising above, and of good people winning in life. I loved it!55
This is a good book if you love a weak female character who constantly bends to the whim of the abrasive male character. I could no longer take the book and skipped to the ending. I don’t like the dynamics and the constant crying by Kennedy. She took all the blame for the events that transpired and he never was held accountable for his actions. She was too desperate for their relationship. If she was my friend, I would have said let it go.25
I usually like this authors books but not so with this one. I did not like the main characters at all. He was a jerk and she was a doormat! Yuck!15
Immature as hell character, skipped to end15
Unique storyline. Not the typical storyline that seems to be repeated in almost every book I’ve read lately. Kept me interested and I read it in one day.55
I enjoyed reading this book so much, I stayed up reading it long after I should have been in bed.55
By stacie lynn This book just grabbed me and wouldn’t let me go! I am sad that it ended! Bookbub55
The heroine came off very weak and it just made reading the story unbearable. I found myself skipping through a lot and eventually I just got frustrated and gave up. Hard pass!25
This was the first book I have read by Stacey Lynn. It certainly will not be the last! She will be added to my list of favorite authors. The characters were so relatable. I loved Kennedy from the start. Her emotions felt so real it was as if I was reading an autobiography. Sarah was the best friend we all wish we had, spunky, happy go lucky, and fiercely loyal. And oh Grayson! *swoon* I highly recommend this book!! *I was gifted an advanced reader copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review"55
