Lighthouse Way

Lighthouse Way Summary

From NYT Bestselling Author Kristen Proby comes an all new epic series about three best friends, a local legend, and finding love on the stunning Oregon Coast!

Luna Winchester’s life is firmly entrenched in the coastal town Huckleberry Bay, Oregon. A fourth-generation light keeper, Luna is carrying on the Winchester tradition by tending to the lighthouse. Plus, she’s decided to renovate a long-abandoned building on the property and make it a B&B, Luna’s Light. Surrounded by family and her two childhood best friends, her life is full.

Wolfe Conrad is in hiding, and he’s come to Huckleberry Bay to heal. A career ending accident on the track nearly took his life, and now he seeks refuge to try and build a new one. The quaint town’s slow pace rattles the man who’s first love is fast cars—and then there’s the beautiful innkeeper, who rattles him in different ways.

Falling in love with Luna definitely isn’t part of Wolfe’s plan. Local legends that tell of unrequited love and despair? Unbelievable. But stranger things have happened, like two strangers falling in love…

Wolfe and Luna4 star

Quaint hometown love story. Wolfe comes home for a special event…and doesn’t leave. Luna reconnects with Wolfe and the race is on. A little drama, a little action and a little ghost story all in one. HEA.45

Friends To Lovers Small Town Romance5 star

Author Kristen Proby has a whole new world for us, and I couldn't be happier. LIGHTHOUSE WAY, the first book in Kristen's new Huckleberry Bay series, is just what I would expect from Kristen, and absolutely what I wanted. Friends to lovers, small town, a touch of the paranormal, LIGHTHOUSE WAY is the first in a series of stories that show that you absolutely can go home again, and that it's probably going to be even better the second time around. That Luna is a strong woman all on her own., and that she is more than willing to let Wolfe know just what she needs, is wonderful. It's refreshing to have characters that are just as capable solo as they are as a couple. Luna and Wolfe are friends that have lived fulfilling lives separately, and are able to come together now, knowing what they they want. It will be wonderful seeing them in upcoming stories, as their lives continue to evolve. I already love Luna and her girl gang, as well as Wolfe and the guys. Kristen's ability to write friend groups that draw readers in and make them feel like they're part of the fun is well-established, and she's in her element here. The love and familiarity between Luna, June, and Sarah, along with new friends, are going to, I know, make for some fun times and great conversations as the series goes on. Fans of Kristen's books will fall immediately in love with this small town and the folks that live there. Put a visit to Huckleberry Bay on your to-do list. You'll be happy that you did. ❤️55

So Enjoy!5 star

Luna has known her entire life she wanted to stay in Huckleberry Bay. Her friends, her home and now her business dreams are here. When one Wolfe Conrad comes back to town and after Luna has no idea is coming for her. After Wolfe’s horrible accident and his life of racing is gone. He soon decides to stay in Huckleberry Bay. Reconnecting with Luna is just the best part. I loved getting to meet all these new people and can’t wait to read more in this series!55

Obsessed with this new series!5 star

Obsessed with this new series! This is one of the best books I’ve read this year and I can’t wait for the continuation of it! The first book focuses on Luna and Wolfe, who have always had crushes on each other, but Wolfe was determined to leave town once he was old enough and he never looked back. Years later, he suffers a career ending accident that causes him to retire back to his hometown and running into Luna starts to help his recovery. Luna has always loved her town and her family’s home/lighthouse and as she starts to grow and restore more of it, she uncovers more of her family’s past that is so intriguing! I really enjoyed this story because it has two stories in one – the one between Luna and Wolfe as well as the one involving Luna’s ancestor and her first love. Throwing in suspense into it as well just added the icing on the cake, and I read this book in one sitting and couldn’t get enough! I can’t wait for the next books in this series, especially after getting bits and pieces of potentially what will happen in this one! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.55

Beautiful small town romance. Can’t wait for book 25 star

I freaking loved this second chance romance. This story had everything. I laughed. I cried. I swooned. I smiled. I even had heart palpitations. SWOON!!! There might be struggles along the way, but the Happily Ever After was heart warming. I gained hope that others in the series will soon find their own happily ever after. Can I start counting down to the next book now? There was even a side story about Rose, a past owner of the Lighthouse. Who knew the past could be so important to the past. The journey to discovery was so much fun and unexpected. Lighthouse Way is an amazing beginning to the the Huckleberry Bay Series. Wolfe has returned to the small town of Huckleberry Bay after a head injury curtailed his racing career. He needs to find a new Purpose. Luna is his new purpose. Her lighthouse will guide him. Lighthouse Way introduced the reader to so many wonderful characters. I can't wait to read more about them and the relationships that will grow in the series. There are three sisters that own a restaurant. I want the recipes to all the delicious foods the make. My mouth is still salivating. Okay, it is partly because of Wolfe, but also because of the food.55

Wolfe and Luna5 star

This is the start of a new series and I absolutely adored it. I cannot wait for the next book which will star Sarah and Tanner. This is a story with a bit of insta-love/lust between two childhood friends who meet years later and fall hard for each other. Wolfe is a race car driver who in a chairty race gets injured and it ends up ending his high profile life. He comes home to Huckleberry Bay where he runs into his childhood friend, Luna. Luna loves Huckleberry Bay. She runs the lighthouse and she wants to open an inn on her property and that means she will have to go through the old barn and thats when Wolfe enters her life again as she finds a car that he will restore for her. This is very much a friends to lovers romance in a small town on the Oregon Coast. Its a close knit community but also a very peaceful life. The series will focus on Luna's best friend Sarah and her friend June. It will also focus on Apollo who is Luna's brother and his best friends Tanner, and Zeke. I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.55
