Be seduced by the wildly popular Seductive Nights series by #1 NYT Bestseller Lauren Blakely…
He intoxicated her. Commanded. Consumed.
With a dirty mind and a mouth to match, Clay Nichols is everything Julia never knew she wanted and exactly what she cannot have. He walked into her life one night and unlocked pleasure in her that she never knew was possible. Possessing her body, captivating her every thought. Which makes him way too dangerous for Julia to risk her heart, given that she has a price tag on her head. She ran after one mind-blowing week with him, but now he's back, and determined to make her his own.
No matter the cost.
She was a sexy drug to him. Fiery, unforgettable, and never enough, Julia is an enigma, and Clay isn't willing to let her go without a fight. But she's got dark secrets of her own that threaten to destroy any chance of happiness. She’s a wanted woman – the stakes are high, the danger lurks around every corner, and yet the lure between them can’t be denied. Can two people burned by love trust again when desire and passion are met by danger at every turn?
The SEDUCTIVE NIGHTS SERIES includes:
BOOK 1: NIGHT AFTER NIGHT (Julia and Clay's story continues)
BOOK 2: AFTER THIS NIGHT (Julia and Clay's story continues)
BOOK 3: ONE MORE NIGHT (More Julia and Clay in Las Vegas!)
BOOK 4: A WILDLY SEDUCTIVE NIGHT
Half a story. Cliffhanger ending. It doesn’t feel like an ending - just stopping in the middle. The next book might have an ending to read, or maybe just a prompt to spend money on another book.25
Awful15
Not impressed. It lacked substance and it was confusing as to what the subject matter35
Didn’t care for it at all15
Ms. Blakely has reallllly done it!! I love the male prespective. I love the characters, I really love Clay. Strong, sexy. The female lead was okay, she was a bit annoying, but she pulled it off. This is the first erotic novel that I’ve read of Ms. Blakely and I love it!!!! Give me more, you got it good.55
Lead character is annoying to the point that I gave up trying to like her. Didn't get very far in this book, about 1/3 way through before I considered it a total loss.25
I do get tired of the series publications. One book is never the end have buy 4 more in this case. However the story is good and there is a lot of steam. Am moving on to the next.55
There's too much over explaining of the characters actions. Too much talking through the process. Instead of trying to use a bunch of flattering words I think the action of sex should speak for itself. It's a bit redundant when the author has to fluff up the scenes with comforting words. Really an entire conversation about how wet she is? The stockings were sexy but then you ruined it with all that talk about being wet. All that talk of her being wet and yet he still expects her to go out in public with no panties. She's going to soil her skirt with her wetness. I'm not falling for the dialogue. It feels forced. Sure they want to bang when they see each other and the anticipation makes it fun but trying to fit in the conversation on top of that does not flow. I'd understand if they knew each other and were hiding their affair and trying to maintain some form of connection between the long distance but they are doing this from the one encounter-ship and it does not have the chemistry vibe for me. These two characters are not relatable to me. I have nothing in common with them and quite frankly I find them uninteresting. Their bedroom conversation is meaningless ramble. It's ironic that Clay does not like when people lie because that is exactly what she is doing. The story has too much sex and the scenes that are not sex related are work related and are just as boring. Not digging the third person point of view. It reads more as an explanation of events and emotions. It causes me to feel unattached to the characters. I feel like an observer instead of a part of the story. I think Lauren could have wrapped up this story in two installments if she had reduced the sex scenes and focused on the scenes with Charlie.25
This is an ok book that kind of drags on a bit. It is not a stand alone book. No ending - you must read the next 2 books.15
A fabulous read. Great characters.55
