Chelsea
Coming back home was supposed to be normal.
Not that my life had ever been normal, but it was getting there.
Then I opened the door and found a man—broken, bloodied, and fighting for his life.
I don't know why, but I said I would take care of him. I had to. Needed to.
He was a mystery, showing up from out of nowhere. But he might have already stolen my heart.
Mayson Carey
The only thing I have ever wanted in my entire life was to forget who I was. Joining the military helped me do this.
Keep your head down and glide through life was my new motto. No strings, no relationships. Nothing.
Everything was working until a knock at the door had me face-to-face with the reason I was running.
So I ran—I fell into her arms, and she fell into my heart, but I know better than to think it'll last.
Some secrets have a way of coming back and haunting us, no matter how much we try to bury them.
I read 11% of the book. Every few words was the F word. The story May be good but I couldn’t stand the language.15
I absolutely loved the chemistry between Chelsea and Mayson!55
It’s hard to put down.45
Read the first 100 pages and the last 100 pages. Everything in between is filler. The first 100 pages really grab the reader and hold your interest. The last 100 pages are ok but in 2 pages you’re told how the father dies. BIG LETDOWN!!!15
Needs editing. Not a bad story line.35
Unbelievably good55
I couldn’t put the book down. I read this within the same day. Excellent characters and plot. Highly recommended.55
It has been a long time since I have read a book this engaging. This book has just the right mixture of suspense and romance. Mayson and Chelsea admire each other from a distance for years, but some heart stopping circumstances bind these two together. Mayson is the perfect alpha hero to Chelsea, and together the two face a known enemy with the help of their family and friends. I love the build up and dedication that these two endure; and I love that Chelsea shows Mayson he does deserve to see all of the colors of a sunrise. Fantastic read! 9 days ago55
Amazing read!! Natasha never disappoints!! Can’t wait to see what’s next!55
My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This series is getting better and better. I love all the books in this series but I think this is my new favorite. The story is angsty and very suspenseful. It was not a easy read but it’s also beautiful and very good written. My heart broke for Mayson and what he went through. I wanted to hug him. Love Chelsea. She’s strong and new what she wanted. I read it in one sitting and couldn’t put it down. Now I can’t wait for Quinn and Willow’s book.55
