The Secret

The Secret Summary

On the day I was married, I promised to love, honor, and obey my husband Stefan.

Little did I know how literally I would mean obeying.

Stefan tells me what to do, and I do it. There are questions asked, but I always submit in the end.

It would hurt less if I hadn't started falling for him.

It was supposed to be pretend. But the secrets we now share are too real, and they're crumbling every piece of who I thought I was.

If only Stefan was the man I thought he was.

If only I weren't so powerless.

But there's one thing I have that he wants.

My body.

And I'll do anything it takes to right the wrongs I've discovered.

Book Two in the Arranged Series.

Repetitive and slow2 star

The premise of the story line is good. The sex scenes are good. But the writing is beginner level and very very redundant. I skipped pages because I had read similar paragraphs already. It’s basic and the timeline often does not match up. If you want a mindless read this book will do the trick but it is not very engaging.25

Promising start!4 star

A good effort from a new author. Somewhat repetitive but worth the read. Looking forward to more of her work.45

The series gets better and better. More roller coaster of emotions and drama. To much of the story focusing on Tori being naive is why it’s rated a 5. Starting book 3 next.45

Wow intense5 star

Wow this story gets to be very intense and fast pace as the alpha male and the witty wife goes rounds on how to fight for women’s rights and a alpha that is trying o protect his wife from the dangers that are out their trying to take her from him. This story is very hard to put down and once you start reading you are needing more from this story, it does end a cliffhanger but well worth the read to see the story getting completely twisted and dark.55

4 1/2 Stars Just when I was starting to trust in Stefan and Tori’s relationship, my heart got shattered with the cliffy that I was kind of expecting but not quite that way. We were warned that Tori was not Stefan’s first love, and he was determined to try to help as many as his father’s women as possible. The focus of book two was Stefan’s trust in Tori and whether their relationship would become as real to him as it was to Tori. Well written, and full of suspense with the feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop. And drop it did. Stefan’s father was detestable and Tori’s father was just a step behind. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.55
