There was the time before Tessa met Hardin, and then there’s everything AFTER...Life will never be the same. #Hessa
Tessa is a good girl with a sweet, reliable boyfriend back home. She’s got direction, ambition, and a mother who’s intent on keeping her that way.
But she’s barely moved into her freshman dorm when she runs into Hardin. With his tousled brown hair, cocky British accent, tattoos, and lip ring, Hardin is cute and different from what she’s used to.
But he’s also rude—to the point of cruelty, even. For all his attitude, Tessa should hate Hardin. And she does—until she finds herself alone with him in his room. Something about his dark mood grabs her, and when they kiss it ignites within her a passion she’s never known before.
He’ll call her beautiful, then insist he isn’t the one for her and disappear again and again. Despite the reckless way he treats her, Tessa is compelled to dig deeper and find the real Hardin beneath all his lies. He pushes her away again and again, yet every time she pushes back, he only pulls her in deeper.
Tessa already has the perfect boyfriend. So why is she trying so hard to overcome her own hurt pride and Hardin’s prejudice about nice girls like her?
Unless…could this be love?
I’m hoping the next book has less of it, but I understand it as a part of the story line and it isn’t always useless. Just kind of loses its slow burn lustre after the 35th steaming session yanno But! I love the characters. Deep and darling and growing. Makes you want to rip your hair out and shake them by the shoulders, but that’s why we love them.45
I remember reading this on watpad as a teenager and having to wait for the next chapter to come out. So amazing to see it come this far!!55
Feels like a Rory and Jess from Gilmore Girls meets Fifty shades with a lot of young love and fighting and deceipt!55
I’ve read this book a handful of times, I can’t get over it. Love it!55
Love this series!55
Struggled to finish this book. It felt so elementary. The entire story could have been cut down to have the size of the book. I also thought the plot twist at the end was far too redundant.25
Bro this’s just giving me butterflies🦋55
This book was everythig and more of what I expected and wanted out of the book. I have read many books in my time but this one is the best. I can’t wait to read the rest I am in awe of just this first one I can’t wait for the next… I wish the movie showed everything in this book as my imagination can go so far with just reading. I still am in love with the characters and am looking forward to reading these novels over and over.55
I loved this book. It gives you suspense and they are always right when they say the book is better than the movie. So much more details and just everything you would want in a book. I highly recommend!55
