More than half-a-million business leaders have discovered the power of the StoryBrand Framework, created by New York Times best-selling author and marketing expert Donald Miller. And they are making millions.
If you use the wrong words to talk about your product, nobody will buy it. Marketers and business owners struggle to effectively connect with their customers, costing them and their companies millions in lost revenue.
In a world filled with constant, on-demand distractions, it has become near-impossible for business owners to effectively cut through the noise to reach their customers, something Donald Miller knows first-hand. In this book, he shares the proven system he has created to help you engage and truly influence customers.
The StoryBrand process is a proven solution to the struggle business leaders face when talking about their companies. Without a clear, distinct message, customers will not understand what you can do for them and are unwilling to engage, causing you to lose potential sales, opportunities for customer engagement, and much more.
In Building a StoryBrand, Donald Miller teaches marketers and business owners to use the seven universal elements of powerful stories to dramatically improve how they connect with customers and grow their businesses.
His proven process has helped thousands of companies engage with their existing customers, giving them the ultimate competitive advantage. Building a StoryBrand does this by teaching you:
The seven universal story points all humans respond to;The real reason customers make purchases; How to simplify a brand message so people understand it; andHow to create the most effective messaging for websites, brochures, and social media.
Whether you are the marketing director of a multibillion-dollar company, the owner of a small business, a politician running for office, or the lead singer of a rock band, Building a StoryBrand will forever transform the way you talk about who you are, what you do, and the unique value you bring to your customers.
One of the best business books I’ve read in a while. Donald practices what he preaches by keeping this book simple, but applicable to your own business. You have to read this book if you want to grow your business and get more clients.55
Wow wow wow! I have learned more from this book then my entire semester studying marketing 101 at my community college! This book changed my perspective on marketing, taught me how to treat customers, how to communicate effectively, how to improve my website, how to standout from other brands, and so many more gems! This book also made me realize and confirm that college is a waste of my time! I can not believe I spent an entire semester doing case studies and taking quizzes just to learn nothing. I can not believe I learned so much from reading this book! This book is truly a game changer for those who want to build a loyal brand. I am grateful I came across this gem!55
This is one of the best books I’ve ever read on branding and marketing. I’ve read countless books and although they all provided me with great information, I can easily say that this book is very transformative. If you’re a small business owner you should require everyone who is in your marketing, sales, and customer service department to read this book.55
So many nuggets of information just in the first section. Awesome read!55
This book is awfully full of stories that don’t get to the point15
Speechless....I recommend this book to EVERYONE55
I have written several books that have been published, and have another one coming out in 24 months. A good friend recommended I read BUILDING A STORYBRAND, but I had no idea how it would apply to me as an author. Surprise— it was a total eye-opener! Donald Miller helped me overcome my fear that I would have to morph into an egomaniac marketer to sell books, simply by reminding me why I wrote in the first place: to improve the life of the reader. Whatever kind of business you are in, I highly recommend this book. It’s just what I need as an author.55
This is a jem of a book. I work for a church and even though we don’t sell a product in any traditional sense I was able to learn a lot of things that apply to the non-profit world. Moving people from "here to there" is a a challenge for every leader and having a Story process is very helpful and speaks to us in a language we all can relate to. I’d highly recommend this book.55
Amazing book! I would recommend it to anyone. Even if you don’t have a business. It’s very helpful for your outlook on life in general. Thanks StoryBrand!55
First book I’ve read in 5 years and helped me gain more perspective on my business. The concept of “Story” shared in this book is particularly interesting and points out the consistency in people’s consumer mindset, which I found fascinating to read.55
