The ability this book has had to connect and center my emotional state has shocked me. I also wondered why I “over-think” emotional states, feelings, and relationships. Turns out I’m a riser, not a “over-thinker” like my past toxic relationships have framed me to be. Great to know that there is more perspectives you can learn from and dive into. This book does a great job showing the authenticity the authors bring to their work. The conversational tone and pulling-back of the curtains over their personal lives really helped me connect with the principles being discussed. I loved it! The only difficult part about this book was following the structure and piecing together each part to create one complete theme. It was a great read! I highly recommend this book!45

I expected more from this author. About 30 minutes into this story, I could tell you how it was going to end. It wasn’t even that interesting getting to the end. And the ending, it seemed like a ten year old could have done better.15
