Loved this book! I used it for almost my kids and recommend it all the time!55
Not helpful at all. The book just lists what should be done but doesn’t tell you how it should be done. I specifically purchased this book to figure out how to get my 3.5 month old to nap properly but this book just tells you how many naps baby should have and when.15
It’s a real pain to read since you can’t control the font size like a normal ebook. You literally have to zoom in and then scroll from left to right to be able to read it. Regardless of content, I can’t give it a high rating until is formatted be readable on a device25
This does not seem to be full book and page numbers don’t match those referred to on official moms on call app!15
I was really excited about reading this book because it had been recommended to me by a friend. However, I did not find help with anything that I needed at all. There is absolutely no information on how to get your baby to go to sleep at night, only information on what to do after nighttime feedings. They also have a schedule that is very unrealistic for working families. They also do not have any information on how to transition your child to their schedule. I’ve worked for the last month to get my baby to go to bed at the 10 o’clock hour instead of around 1 AM. So starting bedtime at 6:30 is absolutely impossible. I’m also not going to make my baby wait The recommended three hours in between feedings when she is hungry between 2 and 2 1/2 hours. Super bummed about this book. I wish I could get my $11 back.15
When you come home from the hospital you have no guidance other than instinct on when to feed, do naps etc. I felt like I was going insane trying to read my child’s mind from day one. This book is an essential guide to help parents get on a schedule that seemed to keep me ahead of my child’s crying. It’s amazing. Thank you so much for writing this book.55
The entire book doesn’t download. For example, the author refers to a section titled “nap times” but I don’t have that chapter. I also have fewer pages than the description of the book says I should have.15
This “book” offers no troubleshooting and no real help. It assumes your baby will follow these guidelines and this schedule, but what happens when he/she does not? The other information is so basic, most new moms more than likely already have this knowledge. It is also quite old fashioned and some of the advice is actually not great at all. Lastly this is not a book. It’s a PDF marketed as a book. Don’t buy this!!!15
Scam artists selling a glorified PDF as a book. Impossible to read on iPhone. This is not an iBook. It is a PDF that they uploaded and Apple should not allow this. Terrible.15
If you would prefer to parent your child like he/she is a pet, not a human, this book is for you. I was extremely disappointed in the content, particularly since it was recommended to me by a pediatrician. Some of the advice contradicts health and safety recommendations by the AAP, LLL, and your everyday parenting experience. I read about the authors thinking, since they proclaimed to be Christian, the approach would be warm and caring. It, sadly, is not. Very cold and rigid, particularly for a breastfeed baby. If I knew how to return the electronic copy, I would. It's complete junk.15
