An adaptation of Dale Carnegie’s timeless prescriptions for the digital age.

Dale Carnegie’s time-tested advice has carried millions upon millions of readers for more than seventy-five years up the ladder of success in their business and personal lives. Now the first and best book of its kind has been rebooted to tame the complexities of modern times and will teach you how to communicate with diplomacy and tact, capitalize on a solid network, make people like you, project your message widely and clearly, be a more effective leader, increase your ability to get things done, and optimize the power of digital tools.

Dale Carnegie’s commonsense approach to communicating has endured for a century, touching millions and millions of readers. The only diploma that hangs in Warren Buffett’s office is his certificate from Dale Carnegie Training. Lee Iacocca credits Carnegie for giving him the courage to speak in public. We may communicate today with different tools and with greater speed, but Carnegie’s advice on how to communicate, lead, and work efficiently remains priceless across the ages.

Book Reviews

Publisher is a scammer1 star

While the content of the book is great, the publisher is not. As others have also experienced, I purchased this book and the publisher then pulled the book from the iTunes store; relisting the identical book at a higher price point. This means that I can no longer download the book I purchased already even though nothing has changed with the new listing. You’re better off buying a hardcopy of this book, as the publisher can’t steal that back from you once you have it in your hands.15

Publisher ripped me off1 star

I purchased this same book for $1.99 and now I can't download it anymore. The publisher decided to remove the old version and put up the same exact book for over 3 times the cost.15

Carnegie Leadership5 star

Great ideas that parallel the original book with modern examples which intertwine the use of technology to reach people. Many similarities (and cited examples) of other leadership books I've read. Most commonalities across the board were treating people with dignity, respect and making them feel valued.55

Fabulous Read5 star

As always!55

This classic book is filled with helpful principles to get along with other people. I enjoyed the stories about how other people used the ideas in business and life situations.55

Sample was not helpful3 star

The sample text only contains two pages of the first chapter. Poor form for something listed in the new and noteworthy section.35
