Good book but iBook technology is missing4 star

I bought this book as an introduction to ketogenic diet...what it is, how it works etc. I was looking for a lay person's guide rather than an in depth academic primer. The book met this need. The layout of the book and the photography was beautiful. The recipes illustrate the concepts regarding Keto diet. This is a self-published book. The way in which the book has been formatted, I am unable to use iBook features like high lighting text and using annotations. I consider this a serious problem. I am a reader who likes and wants to be able to interact with the content I am reading by highlighting and annotating as a read. When I learned that this was not going to be an option, I was very disappointed. Had I known this before I purchased the book, I probably would not have purchased it. In addition, I do not plan to purchase any of the author's other books. If the publisher has the technology to turn these features (highlighting, annotating) on, I recommend they do that.45

I had been hesitant of looking into a Ketogenic diet, thinking it was too much work. But this book made it a lot simpler and straight to the point. I have made a few recipes and I love them! I can't wait to keep cooking and trying them out.55
