I should've never agreed to being his fake fiancée...
Jace Walker aka JK aka Mr. Smirky Pants.
The rich prick asked me to be his fiancée, so he could save his inheritance.
If I agreed, he'd deposit a million dollars in my bank account, no questions asked.
I should have turned him down and walked away... should've!
Sadly, I needed the money to save my floundering start-up, and to put my sister through college.
Besides, the rules were pretty simple: Love, kisses, and sleeping with each other... not on the table, not unless I initiated it.
I hated him, I loathed him. No way was I going to fall for the most notorious playboy of the Valley, right?
I definitely didn't need to think twice about this, I signed.
Guess what happened next? Yeah... no!
We barely lasted the flight on his private jet across the pond, failed to convince his family... oh! Did I mention I got drunk and swam naked in front of them, gulp!
Only that seemed to catch his attention.
He wooed me, courted me, floored me with his trademark panty-melting smirk. He persuaded me to consummate our fledgling relationship. He convinced me that he was the one...
He must be, right?
Then a phone call from my past changed everything...

Not a very good read.25
Interesting storyline and good characters. Could have used a bit of editing.45
It might be a good story line, but I couldn’t continue past the first POV switch. Not only did the POV change, it changed from first person to third person perspective. It felt disconnected, and jarring, not in a good way.15
I’m a big fan of Laxmi and this is a refreshing change of pace. The characters’ chemistry is off the charts but there is so much more to them than what we see. I like that they both grow so much and they both get the happily ever after they deserve.55
❤️ 📚 👍 I received a arc and volunteer to review this book. Fantastic and loved it.55

He says that they will not sleep together unless she Instigates it first. The plane ride across the ocean and they arrive but things turn interesting from there! Will it work or will feelings get in the way? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.55
This book hooked me from the start and kept me guessing until the very end. I enjoyed the twists and turns and the characters reactions to them. I loved how the plot unfolded. Plus, the sex was hot & steamy! I can’t wait for the next one!55
This book was really hard to read.. I feel that the author rushed the story trying too hard to get to the happily ever after.. In this book the main characters never even have 1 meaningful conversation how do they fall in love not to mention that the female lead in this was sooo cringeworthy. If I could give zero stars I would.15
