Photographer Rachel Prudhomme has finally settled in Ministry, Alabama. Sure, the pace is slower, and she's had her heart blessed more times than she can count, but putting down her roots where her family is feels right, if only the town’s new doctor and now neighbor weren’t so hot and constantly igniting her dreams. How can she keep her vow to steer clear of men when he keeps sauntering across her path?
For Dr. Nicholas Sullivan to get his dream job in Atlanta, he must fill in at Ministry General, where they're short staffed for the holidays. He never expects to fall for his beautiful next door neighbor, Rachel.
Soon, Nick and Rachael make a deal. They'll pretend to date so Rachael can avoid the scrutiny from her family to "find a good man" and Nick can avoid the single lovelies in town who take his short stay as a challenge. Amidst the carolers, Christmas lights, and an unlikely Alabama snowstorm, Nick and Rachel can't help but notice the powerful emotional and physical attraction between them. Will a Christmas miracle be all it takes to make all of their dreams come true?
No secret is safe in a small town and these town folks are all about love, supporting each other through pain, redemption, and making Christmas special. It’s all there in a wonderful, heartwarming story.55
Just loved reading about nice happenings to nice people. Well written. Thanks.55
First time reading this author, and will definitely read her again. This was a sweet Christmas story with great characters who live and work in a town that truly loves Christmas and goes above and beyond to celebrate it. Don’t miss out on it !45
Excellent, ♥️ the story, about friendship, family, small town living and lots of love. TY55
This is my first introduction to the Alabama series, but I was instantly enthralled by the small-town charm and intriguing cast of characters. I will be getting caught up with the rest of the series as soon as possible! I loved it!55
This is a fantastic clean love story with a Christmas background. The story was well developed, the characters believable with backgrounds presented as necessary, and the setting realistic. I’d highly recommend this book! I’d never read anything by this author and I got this book as a free download. I’m so happy I decided to give it a try. It’s just what the doctor ordered! 😉55
Although predictable this turned out to be a great story.55
I like a good read with a HEA, enjoyed reading it.55
Sometimes we must be badly shaken and terrified enough to realize what we might lose. And, how much better is it when we gain so much love.55
This reminds me of a hallmark movie but in a good way. I’m sure I’ll be reading another in the series.45
