Super Apps

Super Apps Summary

If you’ve built an app or are thinking about developing one (or are just interested in apps in general), this book is a must have. Super Apps covers the history of the App Store and the marketing techniques you need to know about to make your app a success.

Super Apps details the App Store’s history beginning with the debate in Apple whether to bet the future on web apps or native apps. From there the stories of super apps like Instagram, Words With Friends, Angry Birds and many more are used to illustrate important marketing strategies to use before, during and after launching your app.

You will also learn about the mistakes apps like Color and companies like Pepsi made so you can avoid making them.

Book Reviews

Great for developers, would-be developers and app enthusiasts5 star

I'm a developer, a one-man company, and I loved the book. The book addresses not only developers and aspiring developers, but also people interested in the evolution of apps as we know them now. It's an easy read, well-written, covers the key points of the history of the app store, iPhone, iPad and some of the more popular apps. A lot of general, but good advice to people wanting to start developing their own apps as well as developers wanting to promote their own apps. The book describing some of his favorite apps. For .99 it's a steal. Hopefully Luis will write more books filled with more detailed tips and tricks for developers.55
