Detectives Kennedy and Donovan were partners for years. Then one of them died.
And yet, they're still partners.
Kennedy has to solve Donovan's death while his partner's ghost helps him. Sort of.
How do you explain where you got the tips?
How do you avoid showing them that you're speaking to thin air and no, you haven't lost your mind?
Kennedy has to hide how he's figuring it all out so he can keep his badge and solve the murder - before he ends up dead and buried too.

I couldn’t put this book down. I like supernatural thrillers, this book has just a touch of the supernatural along with a really good detective story. Liked all the characters and the story that had some real life drama as well as a very involved case to solve.55
Very good book! I throughly enjoyed it, this story was wrapped up and the lead into the next book was short and sweet and wasn’t a cliffhanger just a nice opening if you would so be inclined. Very well done as I hate when it’s not a stand alone. Different concept and well done, I’m hoping the next in the series will continue to be as good.55
When you think you’ve got it all figured out, you haven’t.There are complicated situations, murders, very interesting occurrences, some humor, an unexpected confession in a not quite believable setting and a surprising conclusion. I look forward to the next installment of Jamie’s story.55
Great characters and plot45
