Reasons not to crush on Adam:
He's my best friend's brother.
He's my neighbor.
He's the captain of the hockey team.
He's a serial monogamist who's sworn off dating.
Reasons not to fake date Adam:
He has no idea I actually like him—like really like him.
But do I listen to any of those really great reasons? Of course not.
Now, thanks to my amazing and convincing acting skills, one fake date ends with him being my fake fiancé (oops!).
My bad crush has gotten me in way over my head.
Im so sad its over!!!! Def recommending this book!!! Its not easy for me to get into series but let me tell you im hoooked!! I legit jumped from excitement when i saw there were more coming!!! Here i come rhett baby!!!55
This book kept me glued to the pages from the first sentence. Regan is so dramatic in the best way which is why she excels as a drama major. She cracks me up with how she handles situations and I loved learning about her. Adam, oh Adam he was so blind and didn’t see what was right in front of him until he used Regan as a shield. And who knew using her as a fake date would be fun enough he’d want to do it again. If you know anything about the path to med school you know it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Adam’s competitive nature and the need for a scholarship to med school leads up to the second fake date with Adam which she hits it out of the park because when one can’t tell their crush they like them and are their fake date they turn it into acting. Both Adam and Regan learn a lot about themselves and handle all the noisy friends like a champ. I absolutely loved this book. Move over Heath Adam is my new favorite hockey player.55
Reagan is a shy, quiet, college student with a penchant for acting. Adam is a hunky, smart, student athlete on the college hockey team and he lives across the hall from Reagan. Oh, and his sister Ginny is one of Reagan’s best friends (and she is dating one of his teammates/roommates). Reagan has had a crush on Adam for two years and has only said something to her best friends about, but the other guys in their group have figured it out while Adam remains clueless. Until Adam needs a date to a college function so he can get a leg up on a med school scholarship and he is currently single. In steps his friend Reagan and somehow they end up fake engaged. Reagan’s self confidence grows as she comes out of her shell and tells Adam about her crush on him. She also decides to audition for a role in the play that is not her typical “go to” role. She grows stronger in her assertions but still feels like her relationship with Adam has an expiration date. She knows what she wants but she is afraid to ask for it. Meanwhile Adam seems to have always had a girlfriend in the past and then moves on quickly after they break up. He keeps saying it’s different with Reagan and doesn’t want to define or label their relationship. Deep down he’s falling for her, he’s just having trouble telling Reagan. As they navigate thru life, there’s many emotions, drama, and fun with their friends. I like how Adam’s teammates/roommates always have is back and are there to support him any way they can. Reagan’s best friends do the same for her, consoling her after bad blind/first dates and threatening Adam that he better treat her right. Beautifully written love story that will grab your attention. This is the second book in the Campus Nights series and can be read as a complete standalone. I have not read book one yet but have added it to my TBR so I can find out how Ginny and Heath found each other. I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily giving an honest review55
