Eight years ago the December Plague swept through the human population of earth. The Infected were driven mad by the disease, becoming violent and cannibalistic, killing even those closest to them without hesitation.
Six years ago, the tiny surviving community of Immune humans found a cure, and the Infected began to wake up and realize what they'd done. And what had been done to them.
Over time, society began to rebuild itself. Now it is ready to judge those responsible for the Plague. Nella Rider, the court psychiatrist and Frank Courtlen a defense attorney are trying to establish the truth. But more depends on it than they know. They race to find the answers they need before the fragile remains of humanity vanish for good.

I just finished reading the last paragraph and all I said was “wow” about the ending. No spoilers, so you’ll just have to read through it yourself. I promise it’s worth it. Loved Nella & Frank. They’re awesome. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.55
I liked the concept, fresh take on Zombies. A little boring and limited character exploration so you never fully loved the protagonists. Thus their relationship fell flat. The end was ok but once they got (quarantine) out it wrapped up everything with a bow too quickly.35
From start to finish it was a roller coaster of emotion. It out a new spin on the whole “zombie/world ending” theme, and really brought to life the characters.55
Randomly downloaded this from the try a series free section. Great character work, caught my interest and pulled me in quickly.55
Short and sweet in that the book was very interesting and informative. It seemed to start off slow, then all of a sudden I was reading 400 pages very rapidly. Frank and Nell’s are well matched and the villains were so ugly. I will read more of the authors books once I get my I tune card loaded!!! Thanks for the read.55
Wooh! This thriller was scary! It’s more like the movie Contagion but creepier. Great book and unique fo the genre!55
If you told me a week ago that I would read the zombie apocalypse legal thriller, I would have asked you to let me take a sip of whatever you were drinking. But this was well done, and the characters were developed and thoughtfully written. I enjoyed this book.45
Love this book would be an amazing tv series!!55
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. A different take on al the other zombie/post apocalyptic stories out there now. Definitely kept me in suspense and questioning until the very end.55
The Cure is absolutely astounding! Every time you think you've solved the mystery of the story you stumble upon more clues leading you to think differently. Will leave you on the edge of your seat to the very end! Hands down one of the best books I've read in a while. Brilliantly written!!55
