Amazing series, needs new editor5 star

This is an incredible series. I loved every single book. You could make guesses on what would happen and suddenly something completely surprising would occur! Absolutely incredible. The only issue is the editing. It’s horrendous. Seriously, whoever edited this book should be fired. If it weren’t for awful editing these books would be perfect. Regardless, it’s still a 5 star series.55

Good idea, bad writing!3 star

The plot is creative enough to intrigue you but the writing is terrible. I feel like the author doesn’t know how to develop a dialogue. For instance Arelia’s bath. It’s like choppy sentences that hurry the story along when it should be a little more developed.35

Good story but-juvenile writing3 star

This could have been a great story I mysterious mansion in Louisiana, a young girl who finds out that she has supernatural powers, a fascinating young man, handsome and mysterious. What's not to like? Except the writing was about at the level of what the 16-year-old girl is. Disappointing.35

Best book not to scary but just right and it gives you so lessons on how to appreciate what you have even if it's not much as long as you have a roof over your head and food to eat and most importantly someone who is willing to give their heart and soul and love to you and never leave you behind.55

This book was pretty much the best thing ever it was sooo good and had the right amount of voodoo and romance at the end when Lucas gave that speech my heart pretty much melted I don't ever reread books because then I already know what's going to happen but this one I would read it million times a day this is a must read.55
