Very strange and very good book55

Pretty good story4 star

I mostly enjoyed this book. I'm interested enough to read the second book. I don't really care to much for books where the parents are portrayed as negative influences. I believe we need better relationships between parents and kids and we need literature that exemplifies that. This story about a normal teen girl named Alice kept me hanging on to find out what happens next. Alice discovers that she has something other worldly going on in her body. Her and a friend discover what's going on and begin to understand the plot behind what has happened to them. I never understood how the book for its name. I don't recall any fires in book. The first book didn't seem to have an ending.45
