Beginnings of Love is a bundle of the first two novels in the Long Valley world. These stories have some strong language, and oh my, sexy times. Enjoy!
I could not put this boxed set down ! The way the story carried over from the first book into the second makes you feel like you are right there in the snow with them all!! I highly recommend this box set for your weekend read ( or any other time) lol55
I absolutely love these books. The characters are interesting and they have strong women in the story to help these sexy cowboys along in making decisions! I like how both books are connected and the whole series is a must read. I totally enjoyed them all.55
As always Erin Wright hit it out of the ballpark with Beginnings of Love. This has the book’s Accounting for Love and Blizzard of Love. Both of these stories are realistic stories full of romance and lovely down to earth characters. You won’t regret this one so pick it up and read away! Make time fir it. You won’t be able to put it down once you start reading.55
Finally a book without explicit sexual descriptions but feeling the love and chemistry. I can see all the scenes because I am from the area these books where written about. Totally love it! Looking forward to the next one.55
Wholesome characters, small town, but love how she brings in a twist to every story to make it more than a romance novel, the characters have pasta that need to be sorted or explained before continuing on in life and struggles that in same way or shape we can all relate to.45
Erin did it again! An enjoyable read. A winter love story that takes you into another world(even if it is fiction) and lets you escape from reality.55
Blizzard of Love I have enjoyed all of Erin Wright's Long Valley stories and this one is a special treat set at Christmastime! It can certainly be read as a standalone but I really urge you to read the rest of the stories in the Long Valley series - they are all great! In Blizzard of Love, Luke Nash, a farmer in the Valley who plans on spending Christmas alone, accepts an invitation from his best friend, Stetson ("Stets") Miller to spend the holiday weekend with Stets and his wife, Jennifer. As Luke's best friend, Stets knows Luke didn't have any plans and was just going to be home alone. Jennifer, in the meantime, unknowing that Stets has invited Luke, extends an invitation to her best friend Bonnie, an accountant who lives in a large city about 90 minutes south and is also alone for the holidays, to join she and Stets for Christmas. Let me say right now that the way that Luke and Bonnie meet for the first time is hilarious! City girl and country boy - both making assumptions about the other. Things get even more complicated when Stetson, Jennifer, Luke and Bonnie find themselves snowed in and with no power. After a long night of everyone huddled in their sleeping bags in front of the fireplace for warmth, things begin to heat up between Luke and Bonnie. But Bonnie lives in the city miles from Long Valley and Luke owns a farm in the Valley. Can the magic of mistletoe and a Christmas miracle bring them together? Such a great feel-good, heartwarming story! Accounting for Love Accounting for Love - updated, revised and expanded which results in additional humor, deeper plot development, expanded scenes, change in pace, etc., all of which takes the best aspects of the original story and makes it just that much better! Stetson is a farmer facing foreclosure and Jennifer is the banking accountant sent to audit his books - which, of course, puts Stetson on the defensive immediately. But there’s an attraction there too... Both main characters, Stetson and Jennifer, have issues from their past that shape how they view themselves today, which in turn effects their interactions with each other. With the expanded story, we get more in-depth characterization which allows a stronger connection to both characters, identifying more with what each one is feeling. This makes the entire story more satisfying! The supporting characters provide further strength and depth to the story. I especially enjoyed Carmelita - housekeeper, grandmother figure, not afraid to speak her mind! And the epilogue is just perfect! Whether you are just beginning the Long Valley series or you’ve read the original version of Accounting for Love, you will thoroughly enjoy reading this one!55
Great read!! Would definitely recommend!45
