This book was very disappointing. I expected a scientifically based extrapolation of where we would be in 89 years. Although the author does this to a credible extent for the next 39 years, he begins to depart from a scientifically based prediction and devolved into a rambling, internally inconsistent view of the world in the latter 1/3 of the book. Anyone who is reasonably well read on scientific issues (I.e., who reads the Science Times each week), will learn little and be very frustrated by this book. If you fit this category, don't buy it.25
